"If you can find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere." - Frank A. Clark
I grew up in a small town in Oregon. Scio was the name and the population was 465 residents. In fact, my graduating class had only 42 students. The Willamette Valley is very agricultural and quite beautiful. Scio is about 35 miles from Salem, Oregon.
I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have known each other since the 3rd grade. We have been married 21 years and have two children one in high school and the other in junior high.
I once worked as a Safety Diver for Kona Reef Divers and logged in over 250+ scuba dives while I lived in Hawaii.
My entire professional career has been working with students. I began my journey working with adolescents in a junior high school setting as a physical education teacher. From this rich experience I went on to obtain my Master Degree in Education Leadership. After becoming an administrator I began working with students that possessed the need for more guidance and clearer direction.
Since we have a week I would pick 7 different spots with my family. I have no doubts we would pick 7 exciting spots we haven't traveled to. Of course, we might need a time machine.
I enjoy camping with my family and friends. Whitewater rafting is a favorite, along with golf, woodworking and tinkering with projects on our home.
