  • Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Kalispell, MT.

  • Tell us about your family.

I have a daughter and son who both love reading and bad jokes, which helps keep me popular. My wife is less fond of bad jokes, but luckily thinks I’m a good cook. We are quite happy to live not too far from Summit Prep, near friends and family.

  • Share something about yourself that might surprise people.

    I am not a hobbit.

  • Briefly describe your work experience.

My past jobs have been a wealth of life experience. I’ve worked with agencies assisting the developmentally disabled, built industrial cabinetry, managed a toy store, machined rifle barrels and worked the oilfield in North Dakota.

  • If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would happily spend a week just on the open road. Old highways, strange radio stations and roadside cafes keep me entertained very well.

  • What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I enjoy hunting and camping, and just about any travel time I get with my family.

  • What draws you most to this type of work?

I like to be around people. Here at Summit I have met some of the most creative, intelligent and funny people I have ever had the opportunity to know.
