Job Type: Full & Part Time
Position Summary:Seeking primary, direct care staff member for team of students to serve as a mentor and to assist in supporting and monitoring program progression and treatment planning. The Residential Counselor will also supervise students with a focus on student safety and program expectations, lead outings, run clubs as well as other program related activities, while providing leadership to the team and overall community.
As a team, students participate together in chores, group therapy, team activities, and team challenge trips during some breaks. The teams are designed to resemble a family, guided and supervised by Residential Counselors and under the clinical guidance of a Team Therapist.
Shifts are either Sunday--Wednesday or Wednesday--Saturday. Weekday shift hours are 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Weekend shift hours are from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (psych/education related preferred) training or experience with adolescents, outdoor education and/or back country experience.
