My parents, Ed and Dawn, moved to the Flathead in 1981 and still live in the valley. I have a sister, Molly, who is 13 years younger than me and currently attending FVCC

I set the state track record for the 800m my senior year of high school, running it in 1:54.3.

Four years as an arborist while working five seasons as a mountain guide in and around Glacier National Park.

  • If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would spend a week kitesurfing on the beaches of Vietnam. Warm white sand, light blue water and colorful kites…

  • What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I enjoy rock climbing, ice climbing, skiing and kiting. I also enjoy cooking, playing music and creating art with my wonderful girlfriend.

  • What draws you most to this type of work?

The teenage years are so crucial to becoming who we are to be for our adult years. I feel I lacked mentorship during my mid to late teen years and want to do what I can to give support, advice and encouragement to this age group.
