  • Where did you grow up?

I spent the first 15 years of my life in Vernon, Ct. and spent my high school years in Philadelphia, Pa.

  • Tell us about your family.

My beautiful wife is a Nurse and Stroke Educator at Kalispell Regional. I have 2 amazing children. Blake is 2 and loves to spend his free time outside skiing, biking on the strider and swimming in the beautiful Montana Lakes. My wife just recently gave birth to our 2 month old baby girl. Lillian has been an incredibly happy baby who has brought a great deal of joy to our lives. My parents are retired now and spend lots of their free time traveling but claim their home base is in Pennsylvania. My brother lives in Massachusetts with his wife, daughter and son. My older sister lives in Ct. with her husband and three children. My youngest sister lives in Philadelphia, Pa. and is engaged to be married in 2014.

  • Share something about yourself that might surprise people.

I have worked in 15 different states.

My work experience is broad as I will list from most recent down: Teacher, Coach (Basketball, Track, Ice Hockey, and Soccer), Rocky Mountain Hockey School Instructor, Day Treatment Paraprofessional, Caretaker, Sub-Teacher, Math and ACT Tutor, Fitness Center Coordinator, Zamboni Driver, Mountain Bike Guide, Ropes Course and Activities Facilitator, and White Water Rafting Guide.

  • If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I have spent lots of my free time traveling but have always dreamed of heading down to Tierra Del Fuego near the Strait of Magellan in Chile.

  • What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Well, since I do not have T.V., this list is long: Traveling, Reading, Skiing (Water, Backcountry, and Nordic), Hiking, Mountain and Road Biking, Playing Ice Hockey, Fly-Fishing, Backpacking, Camping and about any other outdoor activity.

  • What draws you most to this type of work?

Seeing students grow and change in a positive direction given the right leadership and guidance.
