“If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.” - Harry S. Truman
My second owner brought me to the county shelter when I was nine months old. I was adopted the same day I was brought to the shelter by my family. They didn’t change my name. I have lived in Kalispell in the same house since I was adopted. I can’t remember exactly but I think I’m about 7 years old.
My family is my Mom and Dad, John and Liann and my brother Will. My Dad spoils me and truth be told I’m a Daddy’s girl. My brother Will treats me like a little sister (if you know what I mean). My mom is cool but sometimes she can be strict. I also have two cat sisters, Sifa and Gandolph. I ignore the cats most of the time except when I’m bored or when another dog barks at them.
I licked blue green algae off my fur after swimming in our neighborhood lake a few years ago and almost died. I was on life support for five days and my vet did a lot of research and found a special human drug that saved my life. My story was on the front page of the newspaper and on TV. Because of what happened a public service campaign was initiated to raise awareness of the dangers of Toxic Blue Green Algae.
I have a lot of experience herding humans and also keeping my front lawn safe from predators. However I am not paid for any of this, I do it because I love it.
I would spend it tromping through the woods with my Dad.
I enjoy playing fetch on my front lawn and going for lawn walks in the woods.
